2 cups canned tomatoes with juice
1 Tbsp chopped onion
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp baking soda
pinch pepper
1 1/2 cups milk
1 Tbsp butter

Directions:
Directions:
Chop pieces of tomato and place in saucepan with onion. Heat to boiling. Stir in salt, pepper and baking soda. (Mixture will foam.) Add milk and butter. Heat through, stirring often. Don't boil. Serve immediately.
