"As viscous as motor oil swirled in a swamp, redolent of burnt bell peppers nested in by incontinent mice and a finish reminiscent of the dregs of a stale can of Coca-Cola that someone has been using as an ashtray. Not a bad drink, though."--Excerpt from "The Moose Turd Wine Tasting" by T. A. Nonymous

Directions:
Lightly spray 9x13" pan. Mix crumbs, butter and 2 Tbsp sugar; press onto bottom of pan. Bake 10 minutes. Beat cream cheese, 1 cup sugar and vanilla with mixer until blended. Add sour cream; blend. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing on low speed after each, just until blended. Pour over crust. Mix remaining 1/2 cup sugar, apples, pecans, and cinnamon; spoon over batter. Bake at 325 for 1 hour. Cool. Refrigerate 4 hours. Serve and enjoy. We call this 'American' cheesecake because some friends from the U.S. first served it to us.
