1 1/2 lb. lean ground beef
1 lb. bulk sausage (any flavor) or lean ground pork
1 c. uncooked rolled oats
1 medium size onion, finely chopped (1/2 cup)
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 tbsp. prepared mustard (preferably spicy brown)
1/4 c. catsup
2 eggs, lightly beaten
3/4 c. milk or tomato juice (the tomato juice will make a moister, softer loaf)
1/4 c. cold water

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients together well, then pack firmly in a very well greased, 9x5x3 inch loaf pan.

Bake uncovered in a 350º oven for 1 hour. Remove from oven and let loaf cook upright in its pan about 10-15 minutes before turning out and slicing.
