1 lb. Penne or Rigatoni pasta
4 tbsp. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 lb. cheddar cheese (or combination of other favorites)
4 tbsp. butter
3 c. milk
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 c. buttered crumbs
1 tbsp. butter, melted

Directions:
Start cooking pasta according to directions on package. Drain when cooked al dente. While the pasta is cooking: Melt butter in saucepan on medium low heat. Do not brown. Add flour, salt and pepper and whisk til blended. Whisk in milk slowly. Cook on medium and stir until sauce thickens. Add cubed cheese to sauce. Stir constantly until cheese has melted. Place drained pasta in 2 quart buttered casserole. Pour cheese sauce over pasta and top with buttered bread (recipe below) crumbs. Bake at 350º for 30 mins.

Buttered Bread Crumbs - mix together 1 soft bread crumbs with 1 tbsp. of melted butter
