1 cup water
1 cups chopped potato
1 cups chopped broccoli
1 cup chopped broccoli for garnish
2 Tablespoons butter
1 onion minced
2 cups chicken broth
1 teaspoon celery salt
salt and pepper to taste
cup heavy cream

Directions:
Directions:
Bring water to a boil. Add chopped potatoes. Five minutes later add chopped broccoli. Simmer for 5 minutes. Set aside. (Do not drain.) In another pot steam 1 cup broccoli until tender. Drain and set aside for garnish. In another pot, melt butter and brown minced onion until translucent. Mix in potatoes and broccoli along with cooking water. Pour in chicken broth. Cook for 10 minutes. Pour mixture into a blender. Mix until pureed and smooth. Pour mixture back into pot. Sprinkle with celery salt, salt and pepper. Reheat. Pour in cream. Reheat, stirring constantly without boiling, until hot. Serve with reserved cooked broccoli and garnished with a sprinkling of shredded cheddar cheese.
