CRUST:
1 c. flour
1/2 c. butter
2 c. walnuts (finely chopped)




FIRST LAYER:
1 - 8oz. cream cheese
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. powdered sugar
1 c. Cool Whip





SECOND LAYER:
2 - 4 1/2 oz. cooked and cooled chocolate pudding using only 3 cups milk, to make set firm. (The original recipe calls for instant pudding) but I like cooked.






THIRD LAYER:
2 c. Cool Whip
chopped walnuts

Directions:
Directions:
Mix flour, butter and walnuts. Pat into 9"x13" pan. Bake 15-20 minutes at 350º. Cool completely. Mix ingredients for 1st layer and spread over the baked crust. Pour chocolate pudding (let cool first) over the 1st layer. Refrigerate until firm. Spread Cool Whip (3rd layer) over the refrigerated pie. Top with chopped walnuts. Refrigerate for several hours or overnight. Cut into squares and serve. Enjoy!
