3 C. flour 4 C. apples
1 tsp. Baking powder 1 t. vanilla
1 t. soda 2 eggs
½ t. salt 2 C. sugar
1 T. cinnamon 1 C. chopped nuts
¾ C. oil

Directions:
Directions:
Sift flour, baking powder, soda, salt and cinnamon. Add the oil, chopped apples, vanilla and mix well. Beat eggs and sugar until fluffy. Fold into mixture. Stir in nuts. Bake in greased tube pan at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 10 minutes.

We use to buy Wilcox grown apples by the box from the Hatch family in Gilbert. My grandmother Owens would make this cake from them, and a lot of other good things.
