Ingredients:
Ingredients:
2 C. elbow macaroni
4 T. butter
3 T. flour
2 C. canned milk
¼ C. minced onion
2 C. cheddar or longhorn cheese
Salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Cook macaroni until tender. Melt butter in saucepan, add flour and stir. Add milk and cook until thickened. Add salt and pepper, onion and cheese. Stir until cheese is melted and remove from heat. Mix cheese sauce with the drained macaroni. Turn into a greased casserole. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes, or until bubbly and golden on top.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
Adding more milk and cheese is allowed to extend this but add it after combining the noodles to the cheese mixture. It will all melt and combine then. Sometimes I cheat and put some of this in a bowl and eat it without baking it. It's better than Kraft mac and cheese!
