Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
We attended a family reunion for my grandfather’s side of the family when I was about 14 years old. It was held on a sheep and cattle ranch near Cloudcroft, New Mexico, in the mountains above Alamogordo. Our hostess was a gracious lady named Addi. She cooked all of the meals on a wood stove. My mother was able to get her biscuit recipe and has prepared them for many years. I never eat them without thinking about these fine folks, and our time spent there in the rolling, pinion-covered hills.
