Apple Crisp Recipe

Ingredients:

1 1/4 c. oil
3 eggs
1 1/2 c. sugar
3 c. diced apples
2 c. flour
1 t. salt
2 t. baking soda
1 t. vanilla

Topping:
1 stick butter
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 c. boiling water
2 T. flour
1 t. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Mix oil & sugar. Add apples and vanilla. Fold in dry ingredients. Bake at 350º for 35 minutes.

Topping
Combine all topping ingredients and cook until thickened. Pour over cake while hot.

Since we lived near lots of apple trees from Aunt Maude's old apple orchard, mom had several apple recipes.
