1 pkg yeast
1 T. sugar
1/3 cup warm water

1/2 cup shortening
1/4 cup sugar
1 egg
1 1/2 tsp salt
1 cup warm water
4 cups plain flour (sifted)

Directions:
Directions:
Mix first three ingredients in small bowl and set aside. Mix in large bowl remainder of ingredients and first bowl mixture. Let rise about 45 minutes till about double in size- roll out on floured board about 1/4 in thick. Cover this with melted margarine, sugar and cinnamon. Roll up and cut in 1/2-1 in. pieces and turn flat on cookie sheet or in buttered pan. Let rise till doubled. Cook 12-15 minutes- 350-375. Coat with powdered sugar and water while still warm.
