2 cups flour
l tsp.baking soda
l Cup shortening
l Cup granulated sugar
l Cup packed brown sugar
2 eggs
l tsp. vanilla
1 Cup quick cooking oats
1 Cup pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat to 375º combine flour, baking soda . Set aside.
In large mixing bowl beat shortening and sugar with mixer. add eggs and vanilla beat until fluffy. Add flour mixture, beat until just combined. stir in oats and pecans.
Drop into cookie sheet. bake for 12 minutes.
