2 lbs ground beef
1/2 tsp black pepper
2 eggs
1 tbsp salt
1 small onion
1/2 cup rice
1 tsp paprika

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together in order given. Form a ball the size of a golf ball. Place about 1 qt sauerkraut in the bottom of a 3 or 4 qt kettle. Place meatballs on top of sauerkraut. Pour enough water in to cover. Simmer on top of stove for about 1 hour or until the rice is done.
Note: this recipe is also good to put in a roaster pan and bake it in the oven at 350º for about 2 hours.
