1/2 c. cracked wheat
warm water
1 package dry yeast
4-5 c. flour
2 eggs
1/4 c. honey
1 tsp. salt
1/4 c. butter
Optional: 1/3 c. wheat berries or 1/3 c. sunflower seeds

Directions:
Directions:
Soak 1/2 cup cracked wheat in 1 cup warm water 1/2 to 1 hour. In a large mixer bowl, put 1 cup warm water and 1 package dry yeast. Let stand 5 minutes. Add 1 cup flour, 2 eggs, 1/4 cup honey, 1 tsp. salt and 1/4 cup butter. Mix well; add cracked wheat and another cup of flour. Mix well. Continue to add 2 to 3 cups of flour until the dough is not sticky. Mix well. Grease bread pan and shape bread into pan. Or you may make the French Bread loaf out of this dough. Bake at 385º for 30 to 40 minutes.
