1/3 c. butter 3/4 c. sugar 2 bananas (sliced) 1 egg 2 c. sifted flour 1 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. salt 3/4 c. buttermilk 1 tsp. vanilla 3/4 c. chopped nuts
Cream together butter, sugar, and bananas. Add egg and beat until well blended. Combine dry ingredients and gently stir them into butter mixture alternately with buttermilk. Add chopped nuts; turn mixture into loaf pan that has been greased and floured. Bake at 350º for about 1 hour.
