1/3 c. butter
3/4 c. sugar
2 bananas (sliced)
1 egg
2 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
3/4 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla
3/4 c. chopped nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together butter, sugar, and bananas. Add egg and beat until well blended. Combine dry ingredients and gently stir them into butter mixture alternately with buttermilk. Add chopped nuts; turn mixture into loaf pan that has been greased and floured. Bake at 350º for about 1 hour.
