3 cups sugar
1 cup water
1 cup light corn syrup
1 lb (3 1/2 cups) Raw spanish peanuts
6 drops red food coloring

Directions:
Directions:
Combine in saucepan and bring to a boil over medium heat 325-550 degrees.
Cook until a small amount forms a hard ball in small amount of cold water 250F on candy thermometer. Remove from heat; add 1/4 cup butter and a pinch of salt. Beat until mixture begins to thicken. Pour onto greased baking sheet. Break in pieces
