1 cup brown sugar, packed
1/2 cup butter
4 eggs
3 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. ground nutmeg
1 tsp. ground clove
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 oz. bourbon
3 T. milk
1 lb. pecan pieces
8 oz. candied or dried cherries, chopped
8 oz. candied or dried pineapple, chopped
2 1/2 cups all purpose flour

Mix sugar, butter, eggs, spices. Coat fruit with flour and add to sugar mixture. Add flour, bourbon, milk and pecans. Mix well. Drop by spoonfuls onto greased cookie sheets. Bake at 250 for 30 minutes. Store in zip bags or tins.
