1/2 stick butter
1 large (No. 2 1.2) can sliced peaches
1 cup flour
1 3/4 cups sugar, divided use
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
3/4 cup milk

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter in large baking dish. Mix in small bowl, flour, 1 cup sugar, and baking powder. Add milk and mix batter. Pour over butter but DO NOT mix, carefully spoon peaches over batter with juice. Sprinkle the remaining 3/4 cup sugar over all. Bake at 350 for 1 hour
