4 cups quick oatmeal
1/2 cup white Karo syrup
1 T. vanilla
2/3 cup melted butter
1 cup brown sugar
1 pkg. (12 oz.) chocolate chips or butterscotch chips
2/3 cup crunchy peanut butter

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together oatmeal, Karo syrup, vanilla, melted butter and brown sugar. Press onto large greased cookie sheet pan (11x15). Bake at 350º for 12-15 minutes. Melt chocolate chips (or butterscotch chips) with the crunchy peanut butter. Spread on warm baked base. Let stand a few minutes. Cut before cool. Store in tight container in refrigerator.
