1 c. of shortening
1 c. of brown sugar
1 c. of white sugar
2 well beaten eggs
1 tsp. of vanilla
1 1/2 c. of flour
1 tsp. of salt
1 tsp. of baking soda
3 c. of oatmeal

Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla, beat well. Add dry ingredients. Add oatmeal. Shape in rolls, wrap in waxed paper and chill overnight. Slice 1/4 inch thick. Bake at 350.
