2 1/4 all purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 cup (2 sticks butter) softened
1 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1 1/4 cup white sugar
2 large eggs
2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup chopped walnuts

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375º. Combine dry ingredients in small bowl. Beat butter, sugars, and vanilla in large mixing bowl until creamy. Add eggs and beat well. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in chips and nuts. Drop by rounded tablespoon onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 9-11 minutes and remove to wire rack to cool completely. Yields about 4-5 dozen cookies.
