1lb. beef hamburger
1 large onion chopped
1 15oz can tomatoes or 2 small cans Rol-Tel
salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
1. Saute onion until clear. Brown meat with onions. When meat is browned, drain and add tomatoes. Cook down until liquid is absorbed.
2. Fry tortillas just "soft" drain on newspaper and paper towels. Fill with meat mixture.
3. Serve with condiment's: grated cheese (New York extra sharp cheddar cheese) and shredded lettuce.

No one ever used forks in the condiments! Lorene taught me how to make these tacos years ago and I've used the recipe so many times, I've lost count.
