2-3 lbs ground beef
1 chopped small-medium onion
10-12 chopped mushrooms
1/2 large green pepper chopped
1 large can tomato juice
1 small can Hunt's tomato paste
1 medium can Hunt's tomato sauce
1 large can diced tomatoes
3-4 grated or chopped carrots
2-3 stalks of chopped celery
salt & pepper to taste
2 garlic cloves
3 bay leaves
2 T. Pickling spices in a bag

Directions:
Directions:
Brown ground beef and onions. Drain.

While beef is cooking, add tomato juice, paste and sauce into a large pot and simmer. Add beef, vegetables, bay leaves, garlic and spice bag.

Bring slowly to a boil, stirring often. Cover and simmer for 1 hour. Remove bay leaves, garlic cloves and spice bag. Serve over favorites pasta. Leftovers can be frozen.
