1 medium sweet onion, sliced
1 or 2 medium cucumbers, peeled and sliced
1 egg, beaten
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup vinegar
salt water

Directions:
Directions:
Soak cucumber and onion slices in salt water for 1 hour. Mix together egg, sugar and vinegar and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until frothy; do not boil. Let cool. Drain cucumbers and onions and pat dry. Pour egg mixture over cucumbers.
