1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
3 eggs
3/4 c. buttermilk
1 t. vanilla
2 c. flour
1 1/2 t. baking powder
1/2 t. baking soda
1 t. salt
1 t. cinnamon
1 c. raspberries
1/2 c. nuts

Blend shortening and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time. Combine buttermilk and vanilla. Add to egg mixture alternating with dry ingredients. Stir in berries and nuts. Put in greased 13 x 9 pan (or two 8 or 9 inch layer cake pans). Bake at 350 for 30-40 minutes.
