CAKE:
3/4 cup butter
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 eggs
1 cup sour cream OR 1 cup buttermilk
1/2 tsp vanilla
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp baking powder
2 cups sifted flour



TOPPING:
1/2 cup chopped pecans
2 T brown sugar
1 tsp instant cocoa
1 tsp cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
CAKE: cream butter and sugar; add eggs and cream again. Fold in sour cream or buttermilk and vanilla. Sift salt, baking powder and flour together. Fold into creamed mixture. Spoon batter into greased and floured 9 inch tube pan.

TOPPING: mix pecans, brown sugar, cocoa and cinnamon. Sprinkle over top of batter. Bake at 350º for 45-50 minutes. 16 servings.
