3/4 cup golden crisco shortening
2 eggs
2 1/4 cups flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 cup white sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder

Filling and Frosting:
1/2 cup raspberry jam
1/4 tsp. almond extract
1 1/2 cup of icing sugar
1 1/2 to 2 T. hot water

Mix ingredients together.

Bake at 350 for 8-10 minutes.

Put 2 cookies together with the jam in between and frosting on top. Top cookie with a piece of red cherry.
