Meat filling
1 lb. hamburger
Onion and garlic
Dash salt & pepper
6 oz. can tomato paste

Cheese filling:
1/2 cup cottage cheese
1 tsp. parsley flakes, optional

Crust:
8 oz. can crescent rolls
4 oz. shredded mozzarella cheese
1 egg, beaten
Sesame or poppy seed, optional

Directions:
In large skillet, brown hamburger; drain. Add seasonings and tomato paste. Simmer uncovered, 5 minutes. Heat oven to 375. In a small bowl combine cottage cheese and parsley, if desired. Set aside. Unroll dough into 2 long rectangles on ungreased cookie sheet. Overlap long sides; firmly press perforations and edges to seal. Press or roll to form 13x10 rectangle. Spoon half meat mixture in 4" strip down center of dough to within 1" of ends. Spoon cottage cheese over meat; top with remaining meat. Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese. Fold shorter sides of dough 1" over filling. Bring long sides of dough tightly over filling, seal. Brush with beaten egg; sprinkle with seed if desired. Bake at 375 for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.

Variation:
Unroll dough into 8 smaller rectangles, Place 4 in ungreased cake pan. Spread half meat mixture on dough. Top with cottage cheese. Spread remaining meat. Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese. Put remaining 4 rectangles of dough on top. Brush with beaten egg; sprinkle with seed, if desired. Bake at 375 for 20 - 25 minutes till golden brown.
