1 cup Bran
1/2 cup melted shortening, prefer butter
1 cup buttermilk
1 cup hot water
4 cups flour
1/4 cup sugar
1 tsp. soda
2 tsp. baking powder

Directions:
Directions:
Combine all dry ingredients. Add shortening and mix thoroughly then add buttermilk and hot water. Roll out very thin on floured board and bake on lefsa grill. Then put on cookie sheet in oven to make more dry and crisp.
