2 heads fresh broccoli 1 red onion 1/2 lb. bacon 3/4 c. raisins 3/4 c. sliced almonds 1 c. mayonnaise 1/2 c. sugar 2 tbsp. white wine vinegar
Cook, cool and crumble bacon. Cut broccoli and onion in bite-sized pieces. Combine with bacon, raisins and almonds (or your favorite nut). Mix well. To prepare dressing, mix mayonnaise, vinegar and sugar together until smooth. Stir into salad, chill and serve.
