1 lb sausage
1/2 c onion
1/2 c bell pepper
2 to 3 cans pinto beans
1 can Ro-Tel tomatoes with chilies
8 oz. block cheddar cheese
1 c milk
1 c self-rising corn meal

Directions:
Directions:
Brown sausage in a skillet, along with onion and bell pepper. Drain and place in bottom of casserole dish. Mix beans and tomatoes and pour over the sausage. Slice cheese and cover beans and tomatoes. Mix milk and meal together to form a batter and pour over cheese. Bake at 400º for 20 minutes or until bread is done.
