l/2 cup butter or margarine
l-1/2 cup graham cracker crumbs
1 14 ounce can Eagle Brand Sweetened Condensed Milk (not evaporated milk)
1 6 ounce package semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 3 1/2 ounce can flaked coconut (1-l/2 cups)
1 cup chopped nuts

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350º. In a 13x9 inch baking pan, melt butter in oven. Sprinkle crumbs over butter. Pour sweetened condensed milk evenly over crumbs. Top with remaining ingredients, press down. Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool - Chill if desired. Cut into bars. Store loosely covered at room temperature.

Here it one of my favorite recipes, which I will be making this Saturday for my DAR group. It just so happens that I was very involved in getting up a cookbook for the children's school many years ago.
