1-3/4 qt. water
Not quite 1/2 c. canning salt
1/2 t. tumeric

Bring to a boil and pour over prepared jars of cucumbers and seal jars.

In Quart Jars: Cleaned cucumbers, 1-glove garlic, 1 t. alum, 1-piece of dill.
