1 1/2 to 2 lbs ground chuck
1 small sweet onion, chopped
1/2 green pepper, chopped (optional)
16 oz box elbow macaroni
2 28 oz cans diced tomatoes
2-3 cups tomato juice
salt & pepper to taste
butter or margarine to taste
kidney beans (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Cook macaroni according to package instructions, drain. Brown meat with onion and green pepper. Cook until vegetables just start to get tender. Drain grease. Add meat mixture to macaroni. Add salt, pepper, butter and kidney beans as desired. Stir and heat through.

Personal Notes:
For big flavor, add lots of real butter or "I Can't Believe It's Not Butter." This is very good the 2nd day, although you might need to add more tomato juice.
