"I have long believed that good food, good eating is all about risk. Whether we're talking about unpasteurized Stilton, raw oysters or working for organized crime 'associates,' food, for me, has always been an adventure."--Anthony Bourdain
This recipe for Easy Carrots, by Kevin MacKinnon, is from The LSPC Cookbook Project,
one of the cookbooks created at FamilyCookbookProject.com. We help
families or individuals create heirloom cookbook treasures.
1/4 cup water 12 oz. small carrots 1 T. honey 1/2 T. margarine 1/4 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
In a medium sauce pan combine all ingredients, stir well and bring to boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer until carrots are just tender (about 10 minutes). Uncover, cook over medium high heat until all liquid evaporates, or about 3 minutes.
