1/3 cup shortening
1/2 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 3/4 cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
2 bananas mashed
1/2 cup nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together shortening and sugar. Add eggs and beat well. Sift together dry ingredients. Add to creamed mixture. Add bananas and nuts. Pour into a well greased loaf pan. Bake at 350º for 40 to 45 minutes. Remove from pan and cool on rack.
