1 egg white 2 T water 1/2 cup sugar 1/4 tsp allspice 1/4 tsp ground cloves 1/2 tsp cinnamon 1/2 tsp salt 2 1/2 cups almonds, pecans, walnuts (any or all)
Beat egg white and water. Add sugar and spices. Let stand about 15 minutes to dissolve. Mix in nuts. Spread on foil lined baking pan. Bake at 300º for 45 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes. Cool and break apart. Store in airtight container up to one month. Makes 2 1/2 cups.
