2 c. 100% bran, 2 c. boiling water, 1 c. and 2 tbsp softened oleo, 3 c. granulated sugar, 4 eggs, 1 qt. buttermilk, 5 c. flour, 5 tsp baking soda, 1 tsp salt, 4 c. bran flakes

Directions:
Directions:
In a bowl, pour water over bran and set aside. Mix oleo and sugar. Mix in eggs and buttermilk. Add to bran mixture. Add flour, baking soda, salt. Mix thoroughly. Mix in bran flakes. Grease muffin tins and fill almost to top with batter. Bake at 400 for 20 mins.
