Cake: 2 c. flour, 2 c. granulated sugar, 1/2 tsp salt, 2 sticks butter, 1 c. water, 4 tbsp cocoa, 2 eggs, 1/2 c. sour cream, 1 tsp baking soda. Frosting: 2 sticks butter, 4 tbsp cocoa, 6 tbsp canned milk, 1 pkg powdered sugar, 1 tsp vanilla, 1 1/2 c. chopped large pecans or walnuts

Cake: Mix flour, sugar, and salt. In a saucepan, bring butter, water, and cocoa to a boil. Add flour mixture slowly while stirring. Then add eggs, sour cream, and baking soda while stirring constantly. Mix well. Pour into greased pan and bake at 350º for 25 mins. Let cool for 15-30 mins.

Frosting: Melt 2 sticks of butter. Mix in cocoa and milk and bring to a boil. Add powdered sugar and vanilla. Cook and beat with an electric mixer till its spreadable. Then add nuts. Spoon or pour over cake. Do not spread.
