2 cups All-Purpose flour
2 Tbsp. (level) double acting baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. soda
1 cup buttermilk
1/2 cup shortening

Directions:
Directions:
Mix dry ingredients and add 1/2 cup shortening and cut into mixture with a pastry blender until it resembles rough meal.
Add 1 cup buttermilk and blend with a fork until mixture is combined.
Put dough on floured board.
Cut out biscuits and place on baking sheet.
Bake at 500 until done and golden brown.
