1 egg
1 cup sugar
2 T melted butter
2 cups flour
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 cup orange juice
2 T hot water
1 cup cranberries, cut up
1/2 cup chopped nuts
grated rind of 1/2 an orange

Directions:
Directions:
Beat egg. Add sugar and butter and blend. Sift all dry ingredients. Add to egg mixture. Mix well. Mix in orange juice and hot water. Fold in cranberries, nuts and orange rind. Pour into greased loaf pan. Bake at 325º for 80 minutes. Makes 1 loaf.
