3 lbs boneless chuck roast
4 oz can sliced pineapple
2 T soy sauce
1 T sugar
1/2 tsp ginger
1/8 tsp garlic salt
1 T cornstarch
1/4 cup water
1/4 cup chopped green pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Drain pineapple, reserving liquid. Into liquid mix soy sauce, sugar, ginger and garlic salt. Place chuck roast in dutch oven. Pour liquid over roast, cover and marinate several hours in the refrigerator. Simmer, covered, for 3 hours, turning occasionally. Blend cornstarch and water into pan juices until thickened. Stir in pineapple slices and chopped green pepper. Serves 6-8.
