7 lb. cucumbers 2 c. Hydrade Lime 7 gal. water Syrup: 2 qt. vinegar 5 lb. sugar 1 tsp. celery seed 1 tsp. whole cloves 1 tsp. mixed pickling spice 1 T. salt 1/2 tsp. green food coloring
Put lime on cucumbers. Cover with water. Soak 24 hours. Wash off lime. Let stand in clear water 3 hours. Drain well. Mix syrup. Bring to a boil. Add cucumbers and simmer 35 minutes. Put in jars and seal.
