Ingredients:  
1 c raisins and 2 c water
1/2 c butter
1 1/2 c sugar
1 egg
1 tsp soda
2 c flour
1 tsp cinnamon, 1/2 tsp cloves, 1/2 tsp nutmeg

Directions:
Directions:
Boil raisins for 20 min, drain, reserving 1 c raisin water.
Cream butter with sugar. Add egg. Add dry ingredients alternately with raisin water. Stir in raisins.
Bake at 350 for about 40 min.
Frost with brown sugar icing.
