8 beef sausages,
1 packet of French onion soup,
1 cup of water,
6-8 large potatoes,
butter, milk, salt & pepper for seasoning potatoes,
shredded cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Boil sausages and remove skin.
Place in a deep tray and add combined french onion soup mix and water.
Boil potatoes and mash, adding milk, butter, salt & pepper to taste.
Spread mashed potato over the top of the sausages and then sprinkle with shredded cheese.
Place in a hot oven until cheese has melted.

As a variation you can add vegies to the sausage mixture or make a gravy to cover the sausages rather than french onion soup.
