1 cup water
1 cup karo syrup
2 cups sugar
1/4 tsp salt
2 tsp. butter
1 lb. raw peanuts
2 tsp. baking soda

Directions:
Directions:
Cook water, Karo syrup & sugar to soft ball using a candy thermometer.(240)
Add: salt, butter & peanuts. Cook to hard crack(300)
Add; baking soda & stir. Pour onto greased jelly roll pan. do not spread.
