1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. butter*
1 egg
1/2 c. sour milk (just add a little vinegar)
1 1/4 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
chocolate*

*either 2 squares of baking chocolate, melted or 6 tbsp. cocoa powder with dry ingredients plus 2 tbsp. more of butter.

Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar and butter. Add egg, vanilla (and cooled melted chocolate if using squares). Alternately add combined dry ingredients and sour milk and combine well with mixer or food processor. Drop by rounded tablespoons onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake at 350F for 12-15 minutes. When cool, frost with a dab of vanilla buttercream frosting.
