2 cups sugar
4 eggs
2 cups sifted flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. lemon extract
1 stick butter
1 cup milk

Directions:
Directions:
Mix first six ingredients in order as listed. Heat butter and milk until boiling. Add to previous ingredients, mixing slowly. Bake at 350 degrees for 50-55 minutes in greased, floured tube pan.
