2 tbs. bacon grease (substitutions can be made)
4c shredded red cabbage
2c cubed apple
1/4c brown sugar
1/4c vinegar
1 1/4tsp. salt
Dash pepper
1/2 tsp. caraway seed (optional)
1/2tsp ground cloves
1T flour
1/4c water

Directions:
Directions:
Heat drippings; add remaining ingredients.
Cook over low heat, stirring occasionally until cabbage is of desired tenderness.
