2 cup whole almonds
1 cup flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
pinch of salt
1 stick butter
1/3 cup sugar
1 tsp. almond flavoring

Directions:
Directions:
Set aside 36 whole almonds to decorate the cookies. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. and cover two cookie sheets with parchment paper. Grind the remaining almonds in food processor. Sift together flour, baking powder and salt. Cream butter and sugar until they are light and fluffy; stir in the remaining ingredients. Form the dough into 36 balls and place a whole almond in the center of each ball. Bake the cookies 20 minutes or until they are golden brown. Makes 36 cookies
